Jewel Star Cushion

July's subscription box featured this summer hand-sewing project, using English paper-pieced jewels and hexagons to make this gorgeous cushion in Edyta Sitar's Seamstress fabrics. You could choose to fussy-cut some of the motifs in the fabrics, and if you're careful, you can actually get two cushions out of the fabrics with a little extra background fabric!

Backing & wadding options

To finish off your cushion, you will need a piece of wadding, muslin if hand quilting, and of course the fabric for the backing, all of which you can purchase here. The discount code included with your subscription box is still valid.
