Long Dresden Plate Table Runner Kit in Rainbow Prints

This beautiful table runner is made using the hand-sewing technique of English paper-piecing and features elongated Dresden Plate shapes. Once the 'plates' are complete they are then hand appliquéd onto the background fabric before being quilted. This project features prints from Wilmington's Essentials collection together with a Spectrum Optical White for the background, and Aqua for the binding.

Each kit includes all the fabric you need for the front, plus a complete set of pre-cut papers (60pc) and full colour easy-to-follow instructions.

Skill level: Intermediate

Finished size: 41" x 12.5"

You will also need:
• Temporary fabric glue pen - which you can add above
• Thread for piecing - I recommend a 50wt cotton, which you can find here
• Gentle fabric starch - available here
• Thread for quilting - if machine quilting, I recommend at 50wt or 40wt cotton, if you are hand quilting, you could use a heavier 28wt or an embroidery thread
• 15" x 43" of wadding - which you can add above
• 15" x 43" of backing.
