Lotus Flower Workshop at Craft4Crafters - Saturday 29th March 2025

This is an hour long workshop to be held at the Craft4Crafters show at Exeter from Thursday 27th - Saturday 29th March 2025 on Sewing Sanctary's Stand (166).

An introduction to the hand sewing technique of curved English paper-piecing, taught by Louisa Goult of Sewmotion.

In this one hour workshop you will learn how to glue-baste your curved shapes and then how to piece them together using a flat back stitch to make up this Lotus Flower ring. You can then take it home to appliqué it onto a background square to make into a cute placemat.

In the class you will be provided with all the fabric you need, plus wadding and a set of pre-cut paper pieces. You will just need a temporary fabric glue pen, and needle and thread. (Please note the fabrics provided may differ from those in the picture, but they will still be in a rainbow colourway)
